Big Bank donated to Queen Margrethe of Denmark
The bench is inspired- and build of a standard pultruded fiberglass reinforced polyester profile.
The profile, which is produced flat, has then been forced into a long curved surface, in order to strengthen it, and to make the rainwater run off. This is done by 10 flat steel bands under the seat, pulling the long edges closer together. This makes it possible for a 18 feet bench to hold up with only 2 supports made of stainless steel wire.
